DESCRIPTION:The Art of Presence is a 10-week mindfulness-based art therapy group for adults seeking a space to slow down\, reconnect with themselves\, and explore the creative process in a supportive community. \nThrough mindfulness practices\, art-making\, personal reflection\, and group conversation\, we will cultivate greater awareness\, self-compassion\, and creative expression. Together\, we’ll practice being present with ourselves and one another\, allowing the creative process to become a pathway toward insight\, resilience\, and well-being. \nAbsolutely no experience in mindfulness\, meditation\, or art making is needed.\nJoin us and begin your week in a connected and creative way! \nYour facilitator: Sara Roizen is a registered art therapist with over 20 years of experience in the field. Her practice is informed by advanced training in trauma-informed therapy and somatic art therapy and her background as a mindfulness and meditation teacher and Reiki master – each of which shapes a grounded\, intuitive\, and attentive way of working with others. \nThe Space Between is a creative arts therapy studio.
