The Winter Market Shopping Passport is a postcard that will list the names of participating downtown businesses. BMS will be making the cards and will distribute them to businesses. Participating businesses will pass out these cards to their customers in the days leading up to the Winter Market event and on the days of the event. Customers will use the passport on the nights of the Winter Market (December 13th & 14th) to shop around downtown. Participating stores on the card will stamp (we will provide a stamp!) each customer’s card who makes a purchase in their store on either of the market days. A stamp is an entry into a raffle that BMS is hosting.
In order to participate in the passport card, businesses will need to provide a coupon code or 2 gift cards that we will then give to the raffle winners. The winners will be chosen within the week after the event. There will be 2 winners from the raffle.
One stamp = one entry. Customers DO NOT need to fill the entire card with stamps or visit every store on the card, but shops should encourage customers to visit other downtown Beverly shops.
Any customer who participated in the passport and got stamps on the nights of the Winter Market will need to drop off their card to Soy Much Brighter in order to enter the raffle.
All the instructions for the Winter Market Shopping Passport will be listed on the card including the drop off location.
The purpose of the passport is to encourage shoppers to visit and shop with as many downtown small businesses as possible during the Winter Market. Participation in the Winter Market Shopping Passport is welcomed, but not necessary for shops to participate in the general Winter Market.
