With more than 1.7 billion streams\, an average of more than 22 million monthly streams\, more than 535 million YouTube channel views\, and millions of CDs and DVDs sold\, Laurie’s songs have become beloved classics for children worldwide. \nAs a leader and innovator in children’s music and entertainment for more than 25 years\, Laurie has released 17 bestselling\, award-winning albums\, was the first recording artist ever to perform in music videos on Noggin\, appeared regularly on the network’s Jack’s Big Music Show\, and helped develop the short form animated musical preschool series Sing It\, Laurie! on Universal Kids (formerly Sprout TV). DESCRIPTION:Ever wanted to learn how to design a character? Especially for animation? Well\, come on down to get some tips and tricks! \nJoin us at BevCam @261 Cabot Street\, on April 29th @ 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. \nSpecial Guest Artist: Local Montserrat student and animator\, Madi Mendoza\, will be teaching this workshop! \nChildren will learn to convey their characters’ personalities through shape language\, style\, and color palette. Along with fitting their character into an environment of their choice! Each will get to make their own character and story\, or improve on an already existing character that they have.
