Combining local history\, environmental interpretation\, and landscape exploration\, the tour offers participants a deeper understanding of how Beverly’s natural features shaped the city’s development over centuries. \nAs we hike across Moraine Farm\, participants will learn how glaciers and the Ice Age formed the dramatic terrain that still defines the area today. The tour will also explore the influence of J. C. Phillips and the Phillips family on the property\, the agricultural and conservation history of the landscape\, and the story of Wenham Lake and Beverly’s internationally significant ice harvesting industry. Along the way\, participants will discover how geology\, industry\, transportation\, and preservation intersect within this remarkable North Shore landscape. \nThis program will involve moderate hiking over uneven terrain and wooded paths. Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for outdoor conditions and bring water\, bug repellent\, and sturdy hiking shoes.

Not a runner? Not a problem! Walking is encouraged\, just as long as you’re back for last call! We will depart the taproom at 6:00 so please come in a little early to drop off your stuff and sign in!\nWhen you’re done feel free to hang out\, meet new friends and enjoy some of Beverly’s finest brews! Kid and dog friendly and make sure to bring dinner or snacks to refuel when you get back!\nSo lace up and meet us at the taproom at 59 Park Street!
