DESCRIPTION:Abby Sykes and Lisa LaPlante are joining forces to offer a *NEW* class starting on Wednesday\, April 24th featured every Wednesday through May 22nd from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Beverly. This is an invitation to connect with your body through reflection\, journaling and gentle\, embodied movement. Together we’ll journey\, learn and grow through this initial five week series where all are welcomed to explore how ALL humans are created in the image of God and ALL bodies are an important and highly valued part of our FBC Beverly community. \nThe five weeks will include topics such as:\n~Body Image: What does it mean to be in relation with your body?;\n~Food as a source of connection to oneself and others;\n~Messages we receive about bodies and how to keep our center;\n~How the language we use about bodies impacts us and others\, and\n~Holding Space for the joy & pain that comes with having a body in this world. \nThis *NEW* group is open to the greater Beverly community~ everyone welcomed!

DESCRIPTION:In Honor of Mental Health Month\, local yogi Crystal Rose (Health Goth Yoga) is launching a campaign to raise money for To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA)\, a nonprofit organization that aims to present hope for people struggling with addiction\, depression\, self-injury and thoughts of suicide. 100% of proceeds of the yoga class will go to TWLOHA. \nCrystal will be hosting a Benefit Class at Bridge Nine Records Warehouse (282 Rantoul Street\, Beverly\, MA) on Sunday\, May 5th at 10:30 am!
