DESCRIPTION:Join us and some of our favorite comedians at Off Cabot for another outstanding cause! There is no better way to raise money than through laughter! This show will feature the hilarious Tony V\, Jimmy Dunn\, Kathe Farris\, Will Noonan\, and Corey Rodrigues. The First Baptist Church (FBC) in Beverly are raising funds for an upcoming service trip to Marion\, Virginia\, this August. An all-ages group of approximately forty people from the church will be doing critical home repair work and disaster relief following the impact and flooding of Hurricane Helene! \nFBC Beverly is a progressive and inclusive church committed to social justice and faith in action. Locally\, FBC has established and maintained various outreach ministries in Beverly that have not only addressed identified needs within the wider community but that also continue to have a positive impact on the quality of life of thousands of individuals. These local ministries that have grown out of the church include Harborlight Homes\, Beverly Bootstraps Community Services\, Harborlight Nursery School\, Harborlight House\, Turtle Creek\, and Turtle Woods. FBC also maintains strong partnerships with Family Promise\, Riverhouse/Lifebridge\, The Beverly Multifaith Coalition\, and Essex County Community Organization (ECCO). \nFirst Baptist Church in Beverly is affiliated with the Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists (AWAB)\, the Alliance of Baptists\, the Baptist Peace Fellowship of North America\, and the American Baptist Churches\, USA.

DESCRIPTION:Bring your family\, friends\, and neighbors and come and enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast before worship on Palm Sunday! This breakfast – a long-time tradition at First Baptist – is prepared by the Sr. High Fellowship\, and all proceeds raised go to support the youth ministries of the church.Breakfast will be served from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in Wilbur Hall. The cost for breakfast is $9.50/adult\, $6/child\, and children 2 and under eat FREE. (Max cost is $26/family.) \nFBC can take payment by cash\, check\, or Venmo. Come for the pancakes\, stay for the Palm Processional at the start of our 10 o’clock worship service that morning!

A portion of each ticket sold will benefit our service trippers; shoe rental is included with your ticket\, but food and beverages are available for purchase at the bowling alley. \nTickets are $20 per person and are on sale NOW! We’ll also have a 50/50 raffle drawing! All are welcome so please feel free to invite friends! DESCRIPTION:Join us for an FBC annual tradition that will be your new favorite family affair on Saturday\, November 16th from 9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.! The festivities kick off with breakfast from 9:00-11:00 a.m. (White Elephant room also opens up at 9 a.m.!) and continues into lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.! \nGet in the holiday spirit at the fair taking in all the crafts\, raffles\, silent auction\, Grandpa’s Attic\, Baked Goodies and photos with Santa offered from 10:30-2:30 p.m. All this fun will have you craving a sweet treat\, so you can’t miss the Cake Raffle at 1:00 p.m. too! Everyone is invited and this is a handicapped accessible and stroller friendly event.

DESCRIPTION:Abby Sykes and Lisa LaPlante are joining forces to offer a *NEW* class starting on Wednesday\, April 24th featured every Wednesday through May 22nd from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Beverly. This is an invitation to connect with your body through reflection\, journaling and gentle\, embodied movement. Together we’ll journey\, learn and grow through this initial five week series where all are welcomed to explore how ALL humans are created in the image of God and ALL bodies are an important and highly valued part of our FBC Beverly community. \nThe five weeks will include topics such as:\n~Body Image: What does it mean to be in relation with your body?;\n~Food as a source of connection to oneself and others;\n~Messages we receive about bodies and how to keep our center;\n~How the language we use about bodies impacts us and others\, and\n~Holding Space for the joy & pain that comes with having a body in this world. \nThis *NEW* group is open to the greater Beverly community~ everyone welcomed!
