SUMMARY:Environmental Justice Exposition at Endicott College
DESCRIPTION:Join the Sustainability & DEIB Office for an exposition of environmental justice initiatives in the area. From 11am-12pm\, local campaign groups\, faculty/staff\, students\, and other higher ed institutions will present/table on initiatives and actions they are doing to fight against environmental injustices. From 12pm-1pm\, there will be complimentary lunch and a presentation from our keynote speaker\, Dr. Marcos Luna. He is a professor of Environmental Justice and GIS at Salem State. He is also a member of the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs’ Environmental Justice Council\, and a stakeholder of the campaign group\, Green Roots Inc. based out of Chelsea. He has knowledge and experience in a wide range of topics under the discipline of environmental justice and we are honored to have him come to Endicott.

This year we will raise funds for the World Central Kitchen\, a nonprofit organization that provides meals in the wake of natural disasters. The event will occur on Wednesday\, April 26th\, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Manninen Center for the Arts at Endicott College. During the event\, there will be a student and faculty art sale where attendees can purchase art pieces created by our talented artists in the Endicott community. Additionally\, there will be an arts faculty Silent Auction\, where attendees can bid on items and services donated by faculty members.
