DESCRIPTION:The 14th annual Harbor Fest will be held at Lynch Park on Sunday September 7 from 1 – 5. It is a lively family celebration on the water hosted by the Beverly Harbor Management Authority. There are games on the lawn\, marine and energy-related information booths\, numerous local food vendors\, face painting\, a magic show\, music in the shell\, a beer garden at the Carriage House\, and much more. Social media promotion is in process on Facebook (#beverlyharborfest2025) and soon on Instagram. There is also\, for the first time\, going to be a banner across Cabot Street for the 2 weeks leading up to the event. Harbor Fest is free for all and attendees have exceeded 2\,000 for each of the last 3 years.

DESCRIPTION:All are invited for a Fun and Fellowship organized by the First Baptist Church in Beverly’s “FUN SQUAD” this Saturday\, July 20th from 1 to 4 p.m. (A rain date is set for Sunday\, July 28th\, because we won’t let anything rain on our parade!) \nBring your own chairs\, blankets\, towels\, and anything else you might want for an afternoon at the park. We’ll have watermelon and drinks to share\, but if you’d like anything else\, feel free to bring it along. Likewise\, the Fun Squad will have games galore at the ready\, but if you have a favorite outdoor game you’d like to bring and share\, please feel free! \nIMPORTANT NOTE AHEAD OF ALL THE FUN:\nParking is free for Beverly residents with sticker & non-residents must pay ($25 for weekends). If you live in Beverly and need a Lynch Park sticker\, just bring your registration and/or a piece of mail (ideally utility bill!) with your name/address on it\, and you can get a sticker as you enter the park! \nAll are welcome as this is an event for ALL AGES open to the greater community! DESCRIPTION:The Pete Frates 5K honors the late Pete Frates\, who was internationally recognized as an advocate for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) awareness and education. Prior to succumbing to ALS\, Pete successfully helped raise $225 million globally to #strikeoutals through the ice bucket challenge. \nWe are happy to announce that the date is set for the 2023 race: Sunday\, November 5th. We hope to see you all there! All proceeds from this year’s race will be given to the Mass General ALS House Call Program at the Sean M.
