Fran Forman Suspended Realities; A 20-year Journey through Whimsy to Noir

January 21 - March 14

Free

Fran creates imaginative scenes that blend reality with illusion, exploring themes of longing, disconnection, and hidden emotions. Her work has been inspired by magic realism and the complexities of everyday life, using light and shadow to reveal what lies beneath the surface. Fran Combines photography, digital painting, and Ai, to carefully construct each image over time, drawing from her experiences in social work and activism. Influenced by artists such as Caravaggio, Edward Hopper and Gregory Crewdson, her art captures moments of mystery, solitude, and quiet reflection.
