International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (IEATA) 16th Conference at Endicott College

The International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (IEATA) featuring workshops, performances, keynotes by artists, therapists, performers, creative healers, and expressive arts practitioners from around the globe to gather for its 16th International Conference: “Expressive Arts as a Doorway to Healing”, taking place June 19–22, 2025, at the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts.
This biannual, multi-day event celebrates the rich tapestry of the expressive arts, featuring inspiring keynote presentations, immersive workshops, and dynamic performances across all modalities—image, sound, movement, theater, and literature. The conference highlights the intermodal and integrative practices that shaped the field’s foundation in the 1970s and continue to inform its evolution today.
A significant aspect of this year’s gathering is its location. Endicott College holds special significance as the professional home of Dr. Shaun McNiff, one of the field’s foundational pioneers and former provost of the college. McNiff will offer the opening address on Friday, June 19, bringing his legacy full circle in this vibrant setting of learning and creativity.
