Come to Hale Farm for an evening of history, poetry, and fun as we read some of Lucy Larcom’s poetry classics. One of Beverly’s most notable residents, Lucy Larcom began working as a Lowell “mill girl” when she was eleven and went on to lead a life filled with poetry, literature, and teaching. This poetry jam will include a brief look at Lucy’s history and the reading of some of her poems, followed by original works created by the public.
