Downtown Trick or Treat

Join us on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 4-6pm. Our annual Downtown Trick or Treat event is a safe and fun event for little ones and their families! Stop in at downtown businesses on Cabot and Rantoul Streets that have the orange flyer displayed in their windows and receive a treat. Downtown Trick or Treat is held rain or shine but please check our website and social media in case of extreme weather.

We are partnering with City Hall to offer an activity zone on the lawn outside their building (191 Cabot St). In addition to more treat grabs, there will be a DJ, lawn games, hand painting, a photo booth, raffles and a very special guest! And get ready for the BevCam Costume Parade, happening on Cabot Street, where little ones will have the chance to show off their costume for our local public access channel. The BevCam Costume Parade will also be available to view on our website; more information to come.

Please be advised that Cabot St will be closed to traffic from its intersection with Dane St to its intersection with Railroad Ave from 3:30-7pm on the 27th. While there will be plenty of trick-or-treating fun on Rantoul St as well, show caution as that street will remain open to traffic.

This event is free and open to the public. We can’t wait to see you!

Street Closure Advisory

The city will be closing Cabot Street to cars from approximately 3:30-6:30pm from Dane Street to Railroad Avenue. Some one-way side streets that end on Cabot Street may also be closed (such as Abbott, Wallis, Vestry, Judson and Milton). Please be prepared for traffic delays. Seek alternate routes, such as Rantoul Street.

Parking

Please remember to pay to park, all information is at https://www.parkbeverly.com/
