Come for the beer, stay for the community.
When Gentile Brewing Company opened its doors on March 4, 2016, something special happened. A line stretched down Park Street, neighbors poured in, and the excitement never stopped until last call. The energy that night set the tone for what Gentile Brewing has become: a welcoming, family- and dog-friendly space where the community comes together over great beer.
Located at 59 Park Street in Beverly, Gentile Brewing started with just three tanks and four beers by long-time brewer, Paul Gentile. Today, the brewery has grown to eight tanks and produces dozens of beer styles each year, ensuring there’s always something new for beer lovers to enjoy.
But what really makes Gentile Brewing special isn’t just the beer—it’s the people. From longtime patrons and new neighbors to fellow small business owners and employees who feel like family, every connection has shaped Gentile Brewing into a true community hub.
Like many small businesses, the pandemic brought challenges. But Gentile Brewing met them head-on, pivoting to canning beer so customers could still enjoy their favorites from home. What started as a necessity has now become a big part of what they do, allowing them to share their beer with even more people across the community.
This ability to adapt—while staying true to their values—keeps Gentile Brewing moving forward.
At Gentile Brewing, community comes first. That means collaborating with local food vendors, teaming up with businesses like Copper Dog Books, and supporting countless local nonprofits. It also means giving back: Paul volunteers his time with Beverly Main Streets, the Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce, and the Beverly Bike and Pedestrian Action Committee, while also coaching youth sports that his sons play.
Whether you stop by for a pint, grab a 4-pack to go, or come out for a community event, you’ll find that Gentile Brewing is more than just a taproom—it’s a gathering place built on connection.
For Paul, running Gentile Brewing isn’t just about making beer. It’s about creating a business that gives him time with his family—time to make dinner, coach his kids, and be present in the moments that matter most.
And that’s what makes Gentile Brewing truly unique: it’s a place built on passion, family, and community.

Come for the beer, stay for the community.
