Beverly Public Library National Voter Registration Day

From 1 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, the Beverly Public Library will join over 3,000 partners nationwide in hosting a National Voter Registration Day 2018 event as part of a massive 50-state effort to register thousands of voters. The goal for this year’s annual National Voter Registration Day is to increase participation in the 2018 midterm and state elections across the country by encouraging Americans to register to vote and make their voices heard at the ballot box. While presidential elections get the media attention, midterm elections are a chance for voters to not only impact how their state is run but how their state is represented in the Federal government.
