Montserrat College of Art Artrageous: The Emerald Ball

Montserrat College of Art will present its annual benefit art auction, Artrageous: The Emerald Ball, Friday, April 25 at 6 pm at Danversport, 161 Elliot St., Danvers. The Emerald Ball is in celebration of the college’s 55th anniversary, the jewel of which is emerald.
The evening will feature live and silent auctions including work from the Montserrat community of alumni, students, faculty, and emerging and established artists. This year debuts several exciting new auction items, including a tandem skydiving trip or official work from the Peanuts archive, courtesy of cartoonist and Charles M. Schultz Creative Director Emeritus, Paige Braddock. The event will also include a live aerialist performance, and the chance to see Montserrat students creating art “in the moment.”
As always, all of the money raised will support scholarships to help a new generation of artists get the training and opportunity they deserve.
