The Art of Presence: Mindfulness-Based Art Therapy Group

The Art of Presence is a 10-week mindfulness-based art therapy group for adults seeking a space to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore the creative process in a supportive community.
Through mindfulness practices, art-making, personal reflection, and group conversation, we will cultivate greater awareness, self-compassion, and creative expression. Together, we’ll practice being present with ourselves and one another, allowing the creative process to become a pathway toward insight, resilience, and well-being.
Absolutely no experience in mindfulness, meditation, or art making is needed.
Join us and begin your week in a connected and creative way!
Your facilitator: Sara Roizen is a registered art therapist with over 20 years of experience in the field. Her practice is informed by advanced training in trauma-informed therapy and somatic art therapy and her background as a mindfulness and meditation teacher and Reiki master – each of which shapes a grounded, intuitive, and attentive way of working with others.
The Space Between is a creative arts therapy studio. Sara founded this space to be an intentional place, where we can slow down, listen inward, and engage creatively without pressure or expectation. A community-centered gathering place to find support, inspiration, and healing.
