Learn how to block print by making your own valentines! Join Ashlee Beadle in an evening of designing, carving, and printing while sipping on delicious beer.
This is an introductory / intermediate class — perfect for those who want to try out a new art form and have never tried printmaking before, and also those who have some art making experience, regardless of level. During the workshop I will go over the steps taken to transfer your drawing onto the block, how to use the carving tools, and the best ways to go about printing your image onto multiple types of paper. We’ll finish the event by printing finished valentines on the best pink paper!
All tools and materials will be provided! Age 18+ only due to sharp tools and workshop location.
The workshop is $50 per person with only 8 seats available. I can’t wait to create with you!
