Welcome Yule! – A Midwinter Celebration returns to Beverly’s First Parish Church, 225 Cabot Street on Friday, December 20 at 7:00 PM.
Welcome Yule! celebrates the turning of the year with a delightful show filled with family friendly folklore. This festive, participatory celebration invites the audience to sing-along, laugh-along, even dance-along! The ninety-minute program of live music, songs, and stories draws on both traditional and contemporary works that celebrate Yuletide and highlight less commonly heard pieces.
Featured musicians include Nathaniel Diamond-Jones of Medford on fiddle and Irish bouzouki; Gary Dolinsky of Danvers on guitar, Irish bouzouki, and concertina; and Rose
Sheehan of Gloucester on melodeon.
Admission is $15, children 10 and under are free.
