September 25 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Event Series (See All)
Free

Engage your curious budding gardener or adventurer in our new Little Sprouts in the Garden series, a monthly themed program to connect your child with the natural world around us.

Take a leisurely walk through the Garden to Garden Trail to Celebrate Pollinator Month with a colorful and educational self-guided story trail featuring the picture book Flower Talk: How Plants Use Color to Communicate by Sara Levine.

Along the Garden to Garden Trail, families can engage and learn about pollinators while reading this story told by a talking cactus! Along the path, pages of the book are displayed on signs, encouraging participants to:
-Discover how flowers use color to attract pollinators
-Learn fun facts about bees, birds, butterflies, and beyond
-Explore the surprising science of plant communication

This program is perfect for families, school groups, and curious nature-lovers of all ages. This is a free and self-guided program. It is available daily during open hours—enjoy the walk at your own pace!
